In addition to enjoying the natural landscapes this area has to offer, there are many fun things to be enjoyed, from visiting historical sites, checking out the local casinos,  or watching live shows. If you’re heading to the Poconos, we’ve put together a list of the best things to do to help you plan your days.

Bushkill Falls, Poconos, PA

Dubbed “Niagara of Pennsylvania, Bushkill Falls is a series of eight waterfalls located in the Pocono mountains. It was first opened to the public in 1904 by Charles E. Peters, whose family still own Bushkill Falls today. Enjoy the views of the fall and the forest by hiking along a network of bridges and trails.

The crystal waters of the Bushkill Falls run down the cliff, gaining speed along the way as it makes its way down to the Delaware River below. The most impressive sight to see here is the Main Falls, where the water drops off a 100-foot cliff. Beneath, you’ll find a deep pool before the water continues its journey by dropping a further 70 feet.
