Each week, Cat Country 96 teams up with Rush Veterinary Urgent Care in Allentown to spotlight very special felines looking for a forever home. Whether they’re a playful kitten, a mellow senior, or a curious explorer, every cat we feature has a story—and a heart full of love waiting to be shared.

We believe every cat deserves a cozy lap, a sunny windowsill, and a family to call their own. That’s why we’re proud to introduce you to our Cat of the Week!

Week of April 6, 2026:

This adorable orange boy is Andy and he is available for adoption. We are estimating that he is around 1 year old. Andy is a loving little guy who also enjoys being around the dog in his foster home. Andy has lived with other cats and is a sweet and fairly calm cat who would love to find his forever home. He loves pets and will roll over to have you continue petting him.

Week of March 30, 2026:

Mars is another adoptable cat who is looking for his forever home. He is estimated to be around 2 years old. He is a sweet boy who is working on continuing to build his confidence.

Week of March 23, 2026:

Red Velvet is around 2 1/2 years old and looking for her forever home! Her foster says she is very friendly and cuddly.

Week of March 16, 2026:

Casablanca is a 1 1/2 year old gal who is a master snuggler. She is ready for “the beginning of a beautiful friendship” with her forever family. This 8 month old cutie is Bells. She is patiently waiting to find her forever home and would love to meet you this Friday at our meet and greet inside the lower level at Friedens Fire Company from 4pm-6pm.
