Each week, Cat Country 96 teams up with Rush Veterinary Urgent Care in Allentown to spotlight very special felines looking for a forever home. Whether they’re a playful kitten, a mellow senior, or a curious explorer, every cat we feature has a story—and a heart full of love waiting to be shared.

We believe every cat deserves a cozy lap, a sunny windowsill, and a family to call their own. That’s why we’re proud to introduce you to our Cat of the Week!

Meet your new best friend! Kinza is a 1-year-old beautiful ginger and white female who stole the show last night at meet and greets. She nose bumped the grates of her kennel to let everyone know, “Please come pet me and shower me with love.” Kinza stole everyone’s heart as she stretched her front leg through the grates as far as it could reach to tap each visitor as he/she passed by. This is the kind of affectionate cat that will fill someone’s heart with as much love as it can hold. Week of April 20, 2026:

We have a very special dude to share with you! This is Buddy and he joined the rescue after being found rolling around on a sewer top in Philly. Originally thought to be younger, when he visited with our vet to have a rotten tooth removed, the vet discovered that Buddy is actually about 10 years old! Foxys is known as a neonate kitten rescue, but we are hoping with the help of our amazing followers, we can find Buddy a home to live out his golden years in!

Week of April 13, 2026:

CAT of the week this week is Sydney! She is a 2 year old fluffy long haired former mama cat looking for her forever home!

Week of April 6, 2026:

This adorable orange boy is Andy and he is available for adoption. We are estimating that he is around 1 year old. Andy is a loving little guy who also enjoys being around the dog in his foster home. Andy has lived with other cats and is a sweet and fairly calm cat who would love to find his forever home. He loves pets and will roll over to have you continue petting him.

Mars is another adoptable cat who is looking for his forever home. He is estimated to be around 2 years old. He is a sweet boy who is working on continuing to build his confidence.

Week of March 23, 2026:

Red Velvet is around 2 1/2 years old and looking for her forever home! Her foster says she is very friendly and cuddly.

Week of March 16, 2026:

Casablanca is a 1 1/2 year old gal who is a master snuggler. She is ready for “the beginning of a beautiful friendship” with her forever family.
