Each week, Cat Country 96 teams up with Rush Veterinary Urgent Care in Allentown to spotlight very special felines looking for a forever home. Whether they’re a playful kitten, a mellow senior, or a curious explorer, every cat we feature has a story—and a heart full of love waiting to be shared.

Boots (buff) and Kong (black) were bottle babies of ours who were sadly returned through no fault of their own. Their owner suffered a severe medical episode so Boots and Kong needed to return to the nursery. Once a kitten enters our rescue, they’re always welcome to return if they ever need to be rehomed. Boots is a lovely young adult, settles in quickly, is a very affectionate little lady, and would make for a perfect addition to a family.
Kong is equally as loving and they together make an amazing pair. Their previous owner loved them to pieces, took excellent care of them, and we will make sure Boots and Kong land in an equally perfect home for them.
Boots is currently in our catio at the Pet Supplies Plus in Whitehall if you want to stop by there and meet her! Kong is in a foster home. They did live together but are not considered bonded. Both are a little over a year old.

Week of May 18, 2026:
Tessa is a 1 year old tabby girl looking for her forever home! Tessa came to us with a litter of kittens and she was a great mom! All of her kittens have been adopted and now she is hoping to find a home of her own.

Week of May 11, 2026:
Pretty lady Savannah loves the companionship of her foster mom. This retired mama is on the sensitive side so there are times she feels overwhelmed and will leave to recharge then return when she is ready. But we all get overstimulated right! Savannah is young at heart and loves to play with toys. With each passing week in foster care, she is becoming braver and braver, exploring different areas of her foster home. Savannah has become an expert birdwatcher too! She would thrive in a quiet forever home with easygoing cats.

Week of April 20, 2026:
We have a very special dude to share with you! This is Buddy and he joined the rescue after being found rolling around on a sewer top in Philly. Originally thought to be younger, when he visited with our vet to have a rotten tooth removed, the vet discovered that Buddy is actually about 10 years old! Foxys is known as a neonate kitten rescue, but we are hoping with the help of our amazing followers, we can find Buddy a home to live out his golden years in!

Red Velvet is around 2 1/2 years old and looking for her forever home! Her foster says she is very friendly and cuddly.
