EVENTS THIS WEEK:

• 🍂JIM THORPE FALL FOLIAGE FESTIVAL: Saturday, October 3rd through Sunday October 18th, every Saturday and Sunday. The extremely popular Jim Thorpe Fall Foliage Festival is fun for everyone with scenic train rides, handmade arts and crafts, delicious food, free live music, children’s activities, and seasonal specials from local restaurants, shops and galleries.
• 🍽️FORKS TOWNSHIP RESTAURANT WEEK: Sunday, October 11th through Saturday, October 17th. The weeklong celebration will highlight restaurants throughout Forks Township and the surrounding area, giving residents and visitors a chance to discover new places to eat, enjoy local favorites and support the small businesses that contribute to the community.
• 📖8th ANNUAL EASTON BOOK FESTIVAL: Monday, October 12th through Sunday, October 18th. Presenting literary programs for adults and children, including seminars, open mic performances, story-times, panel discussions, and two author expos. Venues are Sigal Museum, Easton Area Public Library, Book and Puppet Co., Quadrant Book Mart, Connexions Gallery, Easton Farmer’s Market, Easton Public Market, Lafayette College, and The Journey Home
• 👻BOO AT THE ZOO: October 17th-18th, October 24th-25th, and October 31st-November 1st at the Lehigh Valley Zoo in Schnecksville. Trick-or-treat each day from 10AM-3:30PM at multiple candy stations throughout the Zoo! Bring your candy bag, trick or treat around the Zoo for sustainable or palm-oil free candy, and compete in their weekly costume contests.
• 🧙‍♀️WITCHES & WIZARDS WEEKENDS: Each weekend, Saturday and Sundays, October 3rd through Saturday, October 31st at the Da Vinci Science Center in Allentown. Filled with Halloween spirit and fall-themed fun for the whole family! Each weekend brings hands-on activities, festive challenges, and spooky science surprises that make learning an adventure.
• 🏃‍♀️‍➡️JEFFERSON BETHLEHEM RUNNING FESTIVAL: Friday, October 16th to Sunday, October 18th. Join us for an unforgettable race weekend in historic Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, featuring scenic courses, enthusiastic community support, outstanding shirts and medals, and events for runners of all ages and abilities. Choose from the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, 3.8-Mile Trail Run, Kids Run, or take on one of our multi-race challenges.
• 🌶️CHILIFEST: Saturday, October 17th from 12pm to 5pm in South Bethlehem. A day of food, fun, and friendly competition. Venues across the SouthSide Arts District compete for three special awards. Conquer the entire trail by sampling all the chilis and vote for our People’s Choice Champion! Tasting stations will be located at restaurants and businesses throughout 3rd and 4th Streets in South Bethlehem. Beer, wine, and other refreshments are available to purchase inside select restaurant and craft beverage locations on the trail.
• 🍂NAZARETH FALL FESTIVAL: Saturday, October 17th from 2pm to 5pm on S. Main St. between Belvidere and Walnut Streets in Nazareth. Following the Borough’s Halloween Parade, the streets will transform into a festive hub filled with live music, delicious food trucks, refreshing drinks, and local vendors offering one-of-a-kind finds. Kids will love the variety of family-friendly activities, games, giveaways, and surprises throughout the day. Plus, let’s not forget our incredible downtown shops, ready to welcome you with unique products, seasonal specials, and small-town charm.
• 🍂PORTFEST: Saturday, October 17th from 12pm to 5pm in Downtown Portland. A special community celebration honoring Portland’s 150th Anniversary!
