  • Bell Ace Hardware, Trexlertown: Order online, curbside pick-up available. 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday- Saturday. Follow them on Facebook for updates
  • Crossings Premium Outlets in Tannersville: Closed from 8pm on Wednesday March 18th until March 29th
  • Dollar General – The first hour will be for seniors. Stores in the Lehigh Valley area are typically open 8 am to 10 pm daily.
  • Giant – 24 hour stores now open from 6 a.m -Midnight. Lehighton store not affected. Starting Thursday, all Giant supermarkets will be open 6-7 am daily for only customers who are 60 or older
  • Fresh Market – 8 am to 9 am Monday through Friday are for senior shopping only.
  • Home Depot – Beginning Thursday, March 19, all stores will now close daily at 6 pm, while opening hours will remain unchanged.
  • Lehigh Valley Mall – Closed from 8pm on Wednesday March 18th until March 29th
  • Main Street Market, Bangor: 9:00 AM to 10:AM for anyone over 60, expecting mothers, and anyone with health compromising issues. 10:00AM to 6:00PM to the public.
  • PA Wine & Spirits – ALL PA Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores are closed until further notice.
  • Promenade Shoppes at Saucon Valley – The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley will be closed March 17, 2020 until March 31, 2020. Fresh Market and some restaurants will have modified hours.
  • Redners – 24 hour stores now open 6 am to 9 pm. 6 am to 7:30 am are reserved for senior citizens and people who may be considered high risk.

Bucks County Community College: Bucks County Community College will move classes online from March 23 to April 30. After spring break, all credit students will take courses remotely for five weeks. Athletics programs are suspended, and all public events are canceled through April 30. The campus will be closed from March 14 to 22 for deep cleaning. Staff will return to their offices on March 23.

DeSales University: The Center Valley school will hold classes online after spring break, starting March 16. There will be no on-campus classes next week.

Lafayette College: Lafayette College said Wednesday it will move to remote teaching and learning for the two weeks following the school’s spring break, from March 23 to April 5. Students would then return to campus and resume in-person classes. All college events and all non-essential Lafayette sponsored travel will be cancelled from March 16 through April 5. This includes arts and theater performances, academic lectures and programs, athletic practices/competitions and club sports activities, admissions visits, and development/alumni and external events hosted on campus.

Lehigh University: Lehigh University will conduct classes remotely through the end of the semester, through the end of final exams on Wednesday, May 13. The university will move to online classes beginning Monday, March 16. There are no positive cases on the Lehigh campus, although health professionals continue to advise that social distancing helps reduce the rate of the spread of the virus.

Muhlenberg College: The college announced Tuesday it will end all in-person classes on Friday, March 13, and students need to move out of on-campus housing no later than 2 p.m. Saturday. Alternate modes of instruction, including online classes, will be offered for courses from March 18-April 13. The campus is not shutting down and faculty and staff will continue reporting to campus. Room and board will be provided to students who have no option but to remain on campus. Study abroad and study away programs will remain in place.

Penn State University: All classes will be held remotely, from March 16 through April 3, the school announced Wednesday afternoon.

Millersville University: The school in Lancaster County announced Wednesday that spring break will run as scheduled, from March 14-20, and there will be no face-to-face courses the following week, March 21-27. Classes will resume online or through other technology on March 30, for the foreseeable future. Students should not report to campus. Current online courses will not be affected, and internships, clinicals and student teaching assignments will continue as long as the host institution is open for business.

Reading Area Community College: In-progress online classes will resume March 16 after spring break. Face-to-face classes, including laboratory classes, are suspended for the week while they are being transitioned to online, and will resume March 23 in an online format. Nursing and practical nursing clinicals will continue as long as the host institution is in agreement. The college will remain open, and support services such as advising or tutoring will be available. Students will have access to designated computer classrooms in Weitz Hall and Yocum Library. Yocum Library will continue normal operation hours.

West Chester University: Classes will be moved to alternate modes of instruction for the rest of the spring semester. Current online classes will continue as usual, resuming on March 16 after spring break. Other courses will not resume until March 30 so the faculty has time to prepare them for on

line teaching. Day-to-day operations at the university will continue, and staff should report to work as usual.

East Stroudsburg University: East Stroudsburg is extending spring

break for students so the university can prepare for launching online courses, if it would become necessary. Students should not return to campus until Monday, March 23, the school said Wednesday. Events scheduled through March 22 are canceled. Campus is not closed, and residence halls will stay open for a limited number if students, including athletes, international students and student teachers.

Kutztown University: The university is extending spring break by an extra week for students so staff can prepare for online courses, if necessary. Residence halls are scheduled to reopen on Sunday, March 22 at 1 p.m., and classes will resume on March 23. All internships for credit, clinicals, and student teaching assignments will continue as long as the host institution is open for business, the school said. Administrative offices will also remain open on a regular operating schedule. All university-sponsored travel is cancelled until further notice.
